About Helen O’Sullivan
Helen O’Sullivan (homeopath)
I was introduced to homeopathy by my acupuncturist, who believed that homeopathy would benefit me in addition to the acupuncture I received through her. I started seeing a homeopath a short time later, and after only two appointments, I was inspired to train to be one too.
I started the full-time course at the College of Practical Homeopathy in London which opened my eyes to just how many different ways you can use homeopathy to ‘stimulate the body’ to heal. In addition to learning about the process of case taking and the philosophies of homeopathy, the course also covered anatomy and pathology, nutrition, flower essences and some iridology.
Before becoming a homeopath, I was a nanny/maternity nurse for many years. Working with different families, creating relationships with both the children and the parents, has shown me how important it is to enhance each person’s wellbeing. I would like to take these skills to assist me with developing a professional relationship with my patients to help them lead healthier lives.
I am a member of the Complimentary Therapists Association; a professional body that binds its members by a strict code of ethics and practice. I am fully insured.
Little did I know then, what a profound impact it was to have on me! I would like you to book an appointment, so you can see how homeopathy could improve your health, either as an alternative to, or in compliment with, conventional treatment.

My training, work experience and any achievement

The course director at college, who is a practising homeopathy encourages us from a very early stage to start seeing patients. We are in the college student clinic at the start of the 2nd college term in the full-time course. We are able to take on patients, with an observer and then seek supervision from experienced practising homeopathic supervisors. In the beginning they will guide us in analysing our patients and suggesting prescriptions, but as we go further through the course, they guide us less and less.
Outside of college we are encouraged to seee patients and seek local supervisors from the college list of recognised supervisors. We can also attend, and are encouraged to attend local clinics. I attended a clinic, where I was consulted by a child and parent, tihs patient became a case study. Supervision was provided within the external clinic set up.

However, if you haven’t considered it beforehand, you maybe unaware of what homeopathy is all about, even some of the principles. I am truly passionate about homeopathy and happy to talk to you more. If you have any questions, I would welcome a phone conversation, before you book a consultation.
